Love Live! is a Japanese multimedia franchise by Bushiroad in collaboration with Sunrise, revolving around groups of fictional high school girls who become idols to compete in the national school idol tournament.
Love Live! is notable for being one of the first to link the fictional idol character with the real life semi-idol group consisted of a newly recruited voice actress specifically for the character (with an exception of some members of the first installment who already have an existing voice acting and music career). With the annual "Love Live Fest!" featuring a concert of the voice actress of each group. This format would later be replicated by its sister franchise BanG Dream!, which were fully managed by Bushiroad themselves.
Series
Love Live! School Idol Project
The original series features the idol group "μ's" (pronounced Muse) at Otonokizaka High School in Tokyo.
Love Live! Sunshine!!
The follow-on series features the idol group "Aqours" (pronounced Aqua) at the ocean-side Uranohoshi High School in Uchiura.
Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club
The 3rd entry into the series, centered around the girls of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club introduced in the mobile game Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars.
Love Live! Superstar!!
A 4th series, featuring the idol group "Liella!" at the Yuigaoka High School near Harajuku.

Love Live! School Idol Festival
A mobile rhythm game that features characters from both School Idol Project and Sunshine, as well as new original characters.
The original game was shut down in early 2023, with a sequel game launching around the same time.

An arcade version of School Idol Festival, featuring the girls from μ's and Aqours.
Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars
A spin-off of School Idol Festival featuring μ's, Aqours, and the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, consisting of three N girls voted in from the previous game plus new original characters.
This game ended their service on June 2023 to migrate players to School Idol Festival 2 MIRACLE LIVE.
Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 MIRACLE LIVE
A sequel to SIF featuring everyone from μ's, Aqours, Nijigasaki, and Liella!. It was released with every song in the franchise to date. It is scheduled to end service on March 31, 2024 for JP. The Global version launched in February 2024 and is also scheduled to end service on May 31, 2024.
Link! Like! Love Live!
A smartphone application and virtual youtuber project following the Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club. Features an interactive card game and story mode, as well as virtual live performances and live streams.
