Pronounced "Dushka". A Soviet 12.7×108 mm heavy machine gun with a with a V-shaped butterfly trigger. It is mostly known for its use during World War II, the Vietnam War, as well as other armed conflicts. The weapon takes its name from its two designers, Vasily Degtyaryov and Georgi Shpagin, with the K standing for Крупнокалиберный (Krupnokaliberny, "large-caliber").
