Screen vs Monitor

Screen vs. Monitor, that is.

Should these tags be merged? Should one imply the other?

Also, should Computer be related to either of those? It looks like its usage barely overlaps with either. Strictly speaking I suppose it's possible to have a computer with no monitor / screen and a monitor / screen with no computer...

Probably should be computer_monitor, but anyway... Monitors aren't the only kind of screen. Some doors have them too, as well as movie theatres, the television, science fiction everything, and mobile phones.

What is a closed laptop or a server, if not a computer?

We should use computer_monitor or computer_screen for things that are that.

I think they just need disambig wikis pointing out various kinds of "screens".

For the reasons you state, there can't be a formal implication, no.
