Can't see images

When I'm viewing images that have a larger then average filesize it often happens that I can't see the image. Instead of an image I'd just see a list of the tags used for this image. This often happens for posts with for example the nyantype or megami tags. This also doesn't seem to happen to other members, since I often see people commenting on it. Does anyone know what causes this, or how this can be fixed?

This is just the file download timing out due to browser settings or something. You can click the image size to open the image in a new window, which normally does the trick. It's a bit of a pain when reading an image with translations, but so it goes.
