Tag Implication: vibrator_under_panties -> vibrator

Posted under General

If all you can see is the bulge created by the vibrator, should it really be tagged vibrator? The item isn't truly visible.

Additionally I noticed one such image (post #959894) was tagged dildo, but then was removed. What exactly is the qualifier between the vibrator tag and the dildo tag, especially in an image like this in which you can't tell? Given the shape it could be either, but without sfx or a external battery pack there is no identifier for it being a vibrator. It seems this image is only being tagged vibrator out of convenience to match the vibrator_under_panties naming.

I'm of the opinion that the bulge in question is, if it's notable enough to be a vibrator_bulge, recognizable enough as a vibrator.

Good question.
I'd call it a vibrator if the object is making noise indicating activity (see post #1042973), visibly has a power or speed switch, or other elements that indicate some form of mechanical capability. Non-vibrating dildoes wouldn't have these things. On the other hand, if it appears to be nothing but a slab of plastic/silicone/whatever, then dildo it is.

I think it might be a good idea to split the tag cleanly and have X_in_Y tags implicated appropriately.
