The tags anal_penetration & vaginal_penetration are unnecessary, and served by anal sex/vaginal sex.
If those two tags are eliminated, then anal_insertion and vaginal_insertion should be too, as object_insertion ~anal ~vaginal would likewise suffice.
Would it be audacious to suggest that fellatio/irrumato(?) and cunnilingus are similarly redundant to oral?
(EDIT: Of course it's not readily comparable, since vaginal and anal aren't applied with oral, but instead combined into cunnilingus and anilingus, respectively, and there is no penile tag, with the opposing "penile oral" tags defining which party is the active participant.)

That would be audacious considering that there are no existing tag combo searches that even begin to approximate any of those tags.

FTR, I'm a proponent of all four of these tags. Generally redundant, sure, but I feel these specifications would allow for tighter searches (for perverts, granted, but this is a judgment-free zone, eh?). 1girl solo_focus sex object_insertion anal vaginal would not serve to narrow down between 1girl solo_focus vaginal_penetration anal_insertion and 1girl solo_focus anal_penetration vaginal_insertion, not to mention either of those more specific searches cuts are two tags shorter than the broader search.
I expect any of my arguments won't hold up well, since I'm still too much of a lurker to make a strong case.
I don't think there's any problem with the oral tags. I can't think of a tag combination that would narrow down to fellatio/irrumatio/cunnilingus without helluva lot of false positives. Nuking them would also affect a huge number of posts so it's not something to do lightly.
I'm fine with getting rid of the anal/vaginal_insertion, though. Like said above, object_insertion anal and object_insertion vaginal will do just fine.
And +1 to nuking anal/vaginal_penetration. They're not only redundant but also cause confusion with the penetration tag... Which itself seems to be redundant with object_insertion, I just noticed.

Penetration is a weird tag. If its wiki definition were to be believed it would be very close to object insertion. But if you take even a glance at its posts you'll find that it's rarely used for object insertions and is instead used for penis insertions, just like the sex tag (penetration's wiki explicitly forbids this usage but the tag is so poorly named that no one pays attention to the wiki). But either way, the penetration tag is a duplicate of something and doesn't serve any practical purpose besides being confusing in its current state.
