The tag could actually be useful if it was applied to animal races where having multiple tails didn't cap usually at 2 tails. Though the only group I could think of would be foxes, as they cap at 9 (though never stopped some series with going with more), and most of the depictions are of the nine tails variety or single tailed. Of course having the tag specify just 2 tails would leave out things like post #460076, so really a way to cover multiple tails but non-nine tails (or really those with any large number of tails, lets say 5 or more tails or something?) would be better than the two_tails tag.
Of course if we only have the foxes to worry about with the large number of tails, greater usage of the kyuubi tag should resolve the issue, since the appropriate results should appear under a multiple_tails fox_tail -kyuubi search.
As a side question, what qualifies for the kyuubi tag? Is it when they actually have 9 tails or just "a lot of tails"?

Wiki says "refers to foxes (or fox-eared characters) with nine tails", and I'd go with that - there are some depictions of young Ran with <9 tails, which I think shouldn't be tagged kyuubi etc.
The other thing is that now there is a lot of 9-tailed Ran not tagged kyuubi...
Also, two_tails is handy for nekomata, but a bit redundant...
The wiki page for nekomata says "You can probably find more nekomata under: cat_tail multiple_tails" - shouldn't it imply that tags?

Because cat_tail is a tag for human characters with a cat tail, not cats.
I'd say nekomata and kyuubi tags are most useful when used for the animal.
