-1. Most of the images under metal_gloves should just be edited over to gauntlets. Just because something is a glove and metal doesn't automatically make them gauntlets though. For example post #632435 and post #641075 depict that which covers the hand, but is composed of chainmail/metal mesh, and while I don't think these examples are gloves (they are tagged gloves, but aren't tagged metal_gloves), I do think they can show that you could have something that is a glove that is metal and not be a gauntlet. Real life modern day ones are used all the time in some industries where workers have to use knives a lot (butchering, cutting up fish and seafood, etc) to reduce the chances of getting badly cut while on the job.
There is also things like post #1744448 under metal_gloves, which is more like a power fist, and not something I think qualifies as a gauntlet (not sure if qualifies as gloves either though).
