Sharing pictures from Danbooru

Hey I have a question ! :) Is it allowed to share some pictures uploaded on Danbooru for example on Tumblr / Twitter / ...? Or are they "Danbooru exclusive" and not supposed to be uploaded anywhere else? I would of course mention the artist (link to his/her social media profile or similar) and add the source of the picture (link to Danbooru) if I would share a picture. OR should I ask the specific artist about it? It would be great if someone can help me!

Nothing on Danbooru is exclusive. We repost pictures from artist's blogs, Twitter pages, and Pixiv accounts, usually without their knowledge or permission. If you're concerned about permission to reblog, you should be asking the artists themselves, not us.

Link to the original image source (on Pixiv/Twitter/Niconico/etc.), if available. The source information is usually provided under the information heading to the left of the page.

Preferably don't credit Danbooru at all, as that may sometimes rile up artists against this site (since to some people it may imply that we claim some credit for the art, or that the artist uses Danbooru as one of his official 'distribution channels').

Generally, the only reason to credit Danbooru is for 'original' work like translations. In which case it's usually credited as Danbooru Fairies.

(Or the specific translator, but that requires paging through the notes history and some thought in determining the primary contributor, if any.)
