By the same token that there is not female_focus or female_pubic_hair tags, I would say there is an implicit majority assumption of "male viewers of female subjects" when it comes to the sexed images here. female_pov is something of an exception within pov, which is usually either indeterminate or male. At least, that's how it seems to this user.
My assumption for the reason no male pov tag exists is that it would be redundant as pov is largely dominated by images from a visibly male perspective. Female pov was created for tagging a very tiny minority of posts that are otherwise tricky to find.
Just out of curiosity, I took a quick sample of 40 posts tagged pov to get an idea of how many posts would need to be tagged male pov.
Chosen at random with numbers from random.org. The majority are explicit.

Of those, over half are obviously from a male point of view, mostly featuring paizuri and various sex positions, and a few more appear to have male hands but could probably be interpreted either way. Some of the remainder probably should never have been tagged pov in the first place, due to odd angles or being mere close-ups. Even considering the small sample size, I think we could safely extrapolate that there could be some 6000+ male pov posts, so anyone volunteering to populate that tag might be in for a long weekend.
