Recent Fate/Grand Order plot revealed that Koyanskaya is in fact not Tamamo at all, but is instead an amalgamation of dead animals pissed off at humanity because they got blown up by the Tunguska Incident.
Anyways, since characters with similar appearances but otherwise aren’t the same character aren’t implied together, this change should also be made for Koyanskaya.
I don't think that FGO doing the dumbest things in terms of plot should really matter to how we tag the characters, especially because for all we know they'll pull yet another "HAHA SYKE" down the line about Koyanskaya...
Fate tagging is already enough of a headache as it is not to mention the currently still unsolved problems with it, I'd rather not tack on even more problems thanks to even more FGO dumbassery (and, this time around it's not even some costume or double alternate form or w/e, it's just some dumb as shit lore). I doubt that, for as long as Koyanskaya has been known as Tamamo Vitch, people will suddenly stop wanting to see her when they search for Tamamo because of this stupid reveal. It's the same reason why Knocknarea (Fate) links to Medb (Fate).
I totally agree that it’s a stupid reveal but it’s what they’re going with. Since they explicitly severed the connection between Tamamo and Koyanskaya they’re now no more related than Nero is to Artoria. At least in the case between Medb and Knocknarea there is a direct connection (Knocknarea is explicitly described by other characters as being another version of Medb). If they decide to roll back the Koyan thing then the implication can be restored.
At the very least, Koyanskaya’s description in the wiki does need to be updated; the current description is now completely wrong.
I think the biggest thing to consider here is "will people stop wanting to see Koyanskaya when looking for Tamamo because of the reveal" and the answer is probably no because there are still 6+ story chapters where she is presented as Tamamo Vitch. For all intents and purposes she was Tamamo Vitch up until they decided to pull the 50th "haha syke you thought it was X but actually it's Y" of the year. And on top of that this probably means we'll never actually see the real Tamamo Vitch (just like we'll never get real Calamity Jane and we're stuck with that space stuff) Especially since that's the Tamamo catch-all tag anyways, so people who don't want to see Koyanskaya can just look for tamamo no mae (Fate/extra).
The wiki definitely needs to be corrected to reflect this I guess, but I really don't think unimplying them will really serve any purpose other than suiting the contrived af lore they randomly made up for the character several years after she first appeared.
Those are fair points, but there are other examples of characters who are presented as being one person only to be another being separated as far as tags go venom_snake being an example. And for what it’s worth, outside of the China chapter which had her be shocked when someone implied she was Daji (which I guess is either a retcon or deliberate misleading) the game never actually said she was a member of the Tamamo Nine. Her playable character profile doesn’t even mention Tamamo until the last entry and doesn’t list Tamamo Vicchi as her True Name.
Using the tamamo_no_mae_(fate/extra) tag is a reasonable workaround to exclude Koyanskaya but using that tag also excludes tamamo_cat_(fate), who is still at this moment an actual Tamamo. Until they decide that she’s actually a drop bear or something.

Well, they are already separated; Koyanskaya DOES have her own tag separating her from Tamamo no Mae, Tamamo Cat and eventual other Tamamos, it just happens to link to the general Tamamo (fate) tag because it is quite literally Tamamo's body. iirc Koyanskaya is even introduced as TV Koyanskaya, where TV stands for Tamamo Vitch. She has the name of Tamamo, looks like a Tamamo, is drawn by the same artist as Tamamo, has the same VA as Tamamo, quite explicitly chose to manifest in the body of Tamamo due to their shared attribute of being a "living for revenge against humans" even though that makes no fucking sense because Tunguska was a natural event and not a human made incident, and she likens herself to "the Tamamo no Mae from another world" and considers no Mae the original. I understand the desire to separate them because of the plot dumbassery it turned out to be, but honestly I just don't think it serves any real practical purpose tagging wise, like, it's literally Tamamo's body. Her having her own tag is enough separation imo. At most, if we ever get "the actual Tamamo Vitch from the Tamamo Nine" we'd have to unimply Tamamo Vitch from Koyanskaya if such an implication existed, so that Vitch can have her actual tag.
In the case of your example, it's as if we had a general "Snake" tag that regrouped Solid Snake, Venom Snake and Naked Snake, but then when it came out that Venom was [the entire plot twist of MGSV] we decided to unimply Venom Snake from the general Snake tag because of the plot, even though for all intents and purposes he's still a "Snake", looks like Snake, sounds like Snake...
Also I've gone ahead and modified the wiki with some stuff about the character, feel free to reword/correct/add/remove as necessary.

What you said make me relieved, you not the only one here who thought that. Even myself think that it's so wrong for Koyanskaya to has no relation to Tamamo other than has her look still make no sense. It was like Koyanskaya originally related to Tamamo then they dumped all the idea and just make her a standalone character with no relation to Tamamo. (I heard the rumor that Nasu didn't write Tunguska script, it was Sakurai the same person who write Fate/EXTALLA script.)
Someone say: >Face and voice Like Tamamo >Called herself Tamamo-Vitch (Name that already dropped as being one of Tamamo Nine on Fate Extra) >Action and many event in-game alluded her to Da Ji (like when she got caught by Shi Huang Di) >Obsession with "Growing Tail into Nine" >In her servant info, she called Tamamo "Her Original" >Then suddenly "I'm a Meteor explosion that became God because animal prayed or something, and I have face like Tamamo and called myself Tamamo Vitch because I heard about Tamamo eventhough I'm totally unrelated to her" Seriously though... This ain't a "Plot-twist" anymore. This is downright "Bad-writing". Did Nasu really wrote this???
Someone reply: Nasu didn't write this, this event was written by sakurai
