Implications for Lords from Lord of Heroes

Posted under Tags

BUR #9064 has been approved by @evazion.

create implication male_lord_(lord_of_heroes) -> lord_(lord_of_heroes)
create implication female_lord_(lord_of_heroes) -> lord_(lord_of_heroes)

There is both a male and a female default choice you can choose at the beginning of the game, each with their own default design. However, they don't have their own names like Lumine and Aether from Genshin; their default name is both just "Lord" or "Monarch" depending on the translation.

It was an idea suggested by a mod in the "What should I tag this?" form. I think part of the reason is that the Lords are very customizable, so they can look very different from picture to picture.

It’s always a good idea to link to any previous discussions when requesting a BUR, so here it is: forum #206508.

Other games in which you can select the protagonist’s gender also have such umbrella tags, like in FGO. See discussion linked above.

F/GO doesn't have an umbrella for fujimaru ritsuka.

I'd assume people would simply search "Lord" instead of specifically "Female Lord" or "Male Lord." Since they don't have canon names or anything, people would just use the default name they're both known as: "Lord."

That's why I'm agreeing with the BUR. It's a different situation from Fujimaru Ritsuka from FGO, as an user will see both gender options as they type the named protagonist's name in the search bar. This won't happen when the protagonist is nameless.

For the Fire Emblem protagonists, in their case both gender options are visually just genderswap versions of each other, while the two Fujimaru Ritsukas are entirely different in appearance, and in personality as well to some degree.
