These tags exist only to confuse people. They are supposed to be employed when the post in question IS the reference but ends only distracting from reference inset and photo inset while seldom actually used

The concept seems a worthwhile one to have (although as stated above reference photos haven't been accepted in years)
I'm trying to think of a name change that would be better than nuking but still remove the confusion. The only things I can come up with a relatively unwieldly like used_as_reference, though.
It's illogical to nuke the reference photo tag. Even if they aren't getting approved anymore, the posts still exist on the site and removing the tag is just deleting information on why the post exists on the site. It's like proposing nuking the flash tag, just because we no longer support flash.
