By the name I'd have assumed burn_mark to be about burn marks on objects, walls, that kind of thing.

This is true for a non-negligible portion of the posts with this tag, where it refers to burned clothes, paper, and such. See post #651332, post #2656262, and post #3186018. I guess they can be moved to scorch_marks?
There are also a few posts like post #3068543 where the character simply has soot marks on their skin.
I'm not sure if this ambiguity is enough to invalidate the alias, though.
