alias simple_bg -> simple_background

The bulk update request #10623 has been rejected.

create alias simple_bg -> simple_background

Makes it easier to search for, this would remove the awkward line break on the image board enhancer addon. Could also be simpleBG.

You can already use /sb, btw.

Simple_background is such a big tag that it already appears at the top of the autocomplete suggestions after typing "si". Tags don't get much easier to search for than that.

i agree, but it takes up so much space in the sidebar of the addon, especially when combined with other tags ;-;

If you're using random third-party addons you should expect things to not work properly. We can't really cater to that. You can probably tidy it up yourself in JS/CSS, for example with text-overflow styling.

If the sidebar shows what you searched for, just search for /sb instead. Really. Just do it. It can’t get much shorter than that.

If the sidebar shows what’s actually tagged on the post(s), the alias wouldn’t have helped you anyway because what’s shown on a post is always the right side of an alias, not the left side.
