Could I get some direction regarding how legs and thighs should be tagged. I'm running into situations where I find what seem to be mistags to me, only to encounter pushback when I correct them.
The criteria I've been using have been:
- a post being tagged both legs and thighs is generally incorrect. This is AFAICT per both wikipages. E.g. post #5496855 and children should be tagged one or the other, not both.
- a post should not be tagged legs if neither knee is visible, e.g. post #4117871, post #4221416, post #4632779, post #5339680, and most posts tagged cowboy shot, (this seems least controversial)
- a post should not be tagged legs if almost no part of the lower leg is visible, due to being folded behind the thighs, e.g. post #4569246, post #5499940, post #5501526
- a post should not be tagged legs or thighs if they aren't the focus of the image, even if most of their length is visible (whether something is or is not the focus is somewhat subjective), e.g. post #5500636, post #5501245, post #5507741, post #5510543, post #5512901
- a post should be tagged legs and not thighs where the entirety or great majority of one or both legs is visible and the thighs are not emphasized in exclusion of the lower legs, e.g. post #5500192, post #5500352, post #5501654, post #5501765, post #5503801, post #5509170, post #5509369, post #5510610, post #5512397
- (ambiguous case) a post (should/should not) be tagged (legs/thighs) where the entirety or great majority of one or both legs is visible but the thighs are emphasized in exclusion of the lower legs, e.g. post #5503952, post #5504010, post #5504249
