From what I can tell, the Draw Friends Booru tags them as anonymous drawfag (artist) - and based on the tag history (mainly starring Kikimaru), that booru is the source of the tag name. It would be worth going through an /a/ archive such as Desuarchive to try and figure out whether the artist themselves referred to themselves as such, or try to glean info from the Draw Friends Booru somehow without good search options.

Well, after so long, I decided to do this myself. According to Desuarchive, Anonymous Drawfag was indeed the name of at least one specific drawfag in the period between 2012 and 2014 (up to 2017 possibly), basically going backwards from this search page (for thumbnails, keep the post link and switch to archived.moe). There is one another name that's floated around them, based on the search and what posts some of the search posts they either replied to, or were replied with - K, or Katamari - and three posts that were upped under the tag after Kikimaru's time on it and were tagged with it on Draw Friends Booru belonged to one K (sktchblg). But since I have the impression their equivalent of the tag has since gotten poisoned by its ambiguity (kind of like what's happened to it here), I felt it might be appropriate to instead try and figure out whether or not, using archived.moe, I could identify whether or not the tag was ever used for one specific anonymous drawfag.

The one identified as Katamari/K was found to have done post #1175746 via this post reply chain. So far, so good. Unfortunately, all hope was lost with this post which uses post #1237206, where they explicitly state "I'm just another anonymous drawfag. And I'm not Katamari." in reply to a post of someone asking who drew the art in post #1175746, and then later again here and here. So, something like katamari_(anonymous_drawfag) for the whole tag is now off the tables. And just as Anonymous Drawfag gets confused with K/Katamari, some drawfags associated with them get the same. But there was a strange coincidence where someone naming the drawfag said they were called anonymous_drawfag_(artist) after they themselves said they wanted to be anonymous (subsequently complaining about being nicknamed Laharlbro)... because going back to see what art they posted reveals a piece SauceNAO identifies as being from K (sktchblg).

But there was one concerning thing, and that is that at least one drawfag asked if they could change a miscredited drawing to anonymous drawfag for themselves. While they'd ultimately make a tag based on their booru account name, this does reveal that there's a very high possibility the tag could've been used for more than one drawfags by anons not even asking if using the tag for them would be appropriate.

So, I've chosen to change all the post-Kikimaru posts that weren't by K (sktchblg) to drawfag, to ensure a clean base (alongside putting sources from Draw Friends Booru on each post). The best course of action I can think of now is like, asking K (sktchblg) if they know anything, see if any of their art is uncredited.
