Red-hair Marisa tag

Ive recently noticed that some Touhou characters who have an specific design from a specific game who doesn't fit to a regular search has it's own tags (e.g. Turbo Byakuren, Tanned Cirno)

I've planned to suggest the same for Marisa's original design, since she falls in the same problem kirisame marisa (PC-98) includes her late blonde designs, joining the tag with red hair include other red hair characters such as post #2140102 and using 1girl limits group images.

Being short, there is no way to proceed a proper search with her specific design without using three or more pictures (kirisame marisa (pc-98) and Story of Eastern Wonderland/red hair already take two tags) (same would happen to Yuuka using pajamas in Lotus Land Story, but there are few of those to really seek for a way to filter)

But in other side there is no specific way to call her, since the tag used for thisr design is the first kanjis used for her 魔梨沙 that reads "Marisa"

Is Kirisame Marisa (Story of Eastern Wonderland) a proper way to tag those images to then request implications? There is onther way I should tag her? Or should I keep as is

As far as I'm aware, the only reason Turbo Byakuren and Tanned Cirno exist is because at one point people had the ridiculous notion that outfits specific to a game didn't qualify as direct references to that game and shouldn't be tagged with said game, prompting people to insist that those outfits were too difficult to search for without having their own tags. I would argue they never needed their own tags, but trying to have them nuked would probably receive too much pushback.

The only canon appearance that features red haired Marisa is SoEW. Kirisame_Marisa Story_of_Eastern_Wonderland should be sufficient. Story of Eastern Wonderland only has 10 pages of results, and that search accounts for 8 of them, though I'm sure that game has suffered undertagging just like the rest because people intuitively understand what constitutes a "direct reference" up until you say "tag direct references only" and then they decide that nothing is a direct reference.

Well, Tanned Cirno is the only main-series costume change to canonically warrant a name change on the character select screen, and Turbo Byakuren requires disambiguation from Byakuren's normal ULiL outfit (post #2011149). I can see the argument that SoEW Marisa is routinely singled out and nicknamed by fans, but I'm not sure we need three different tags for one character when the copyright tag already pulls the correct results.

Also note that the search limit for members generally isn't taken into account when designing tags, as one of the account upgrade perks is increasing the tag limit.

I'm against a tag like that.
Ideally designs specific to a game should be tagged with said game (like post #5325439), so the thing to do in this case would be to go through PC-98 Marisa artworks and tag red-haired ones as Story of Eastern Wonderland.

That's not really true. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general rule of thumb is "if this exact thing can't be searched in less than three tags, it should have it's own tag".
