Some of Hetalia characters have alternate human names. However, previously they were not represented in our tags.
Source: here, here

It's not a matter of dub vs sub. The characters usually refer to each other by their countries' names in the original too. However, the OG artist gave select characters official human names, and those are sometimes used in fanworks, especially AUs. Fanartists also sometimes tag their works with the human names rather than just, say, "southern italy" or "aph poland".

The problem is - the previous topic claims that those are not common. But that is not accurate, at least not in the modern fandom.
For instance: here's AO3 (a popular western fanfic site) for "Hetalia, written in English, sorted by date":

https://archiveofourown.org/works?work_search[sort_column]=revised_at&work_search[other_tag_names]=&work_search[excluded_tag_names]=&work_search[crossover]=&work_search[complete]=&work_search[words_from]=&work_search[words_to]=&work_search[date_from]=&work_search[date_to]=&work_search[query]=&work_search[language_id]=en&commit=Sort+and+Filter&tag_id=Hetalia%3A+Axis+Powers]

On the current first page (that consists of 20 entries), 11's summaries use human names (most of which are the ones that were provided by the author), 7 mention only country names (China, England, etc.), and two don't mention either.

Look up Hetalia on Tumblr, and you'll find posts tagged with the human names. Sure, they're not the majority, but they are not that sparse, either.

And it's not just the westerners that use those, either. Pixiv has tags for the human names as well, for example Feliks Łukasiewicz, the human name of APH Poland. 3981 uses of the tag when logged out, 4283 when logged in.
