Kuroirozuki Marilyn Monroe Marie Art

Posted under General

Hello I apologize if this is inappropriate to ask, but I was curious if anyone was able to archive Kuroirozuki's recent Marie (Skull Girls) art that was Marilyn Monroe inspired. The artist unfortunately deleted it from Twitter after being bullied and harassed for making the art. After from what I know an official SG Twitter retweeted and liked the art, because it was pretty tame. Though I again apologize if this is inappropriate to ask since it was the artist's choice to delete the art, I simply think it's a shame because bullies beating down artists on Twitter is something I'm extremely exhausted by.

Was this twitter exclusive? Could you be more specific about "Marilyn Monroe inspired"? How long ago was it posted?

Why was this deemed worth harassing the artist over?

I believe the artist only uploaded it to Twitter at the time, I'm not sure if they'll upload it to Pixiv at some point, but it seems unlikely unfortunately. It was posted earlier today, and it was art of Marie from Skull Girls holding her dress down as wind was blowing it up, with no underwear or anything like that showing, just legs. She had a bit of a surprised expression on, aided by the "!?" speech bubble. People harassed/bullied the artist into deleting it because they think she's a character that shouldn't be "sexualized".

The artist after deleting it said they are confused, and they have been making statements about how they never intended it to be sexual. Saying they're trying to better understand why the art was bad. Which in my opinion the art wasn't offensive at all, and people have been defending the artist and trying to tell them that deleting it was entirely unneeded.
