dog breed implication(s)

There are several pages of husky -dog and almost all of them feature dogs. Seems missed pretty often (and recently). However I see that no dog breeds are implicated, so is this intentional? Is husky supposed to be tagged on a dog girl with husky-resembling features, for example?

Dog breeds don't implicate dog because furries exist. Dog is specifically for the four legged mammal, while a husky furry is not, in that sense, a dog. This applies to all distinct animal breeds and species, as far as I know.

Makes sense. Figured there was something like that but worth checking. I thought there wouldn't be many personifications that had breed-specific features defined well enough to be worth tagging, but I wasn't thinking about furry. Guess I'll just do a bit of gardening ...and having done that it does seem like husky was more of an exception with a bunch of recent untagged dogs. Other breeds appear to have a lower ratio of actual dogs.
