BUR #18894 has been rejected.
create alias sling_(firearms) -> sling
create alias gun_sling -> sling
Utility alias for findability, and also in order to prevent others from making duplicate tags. Not to be confused with sling (weapon).
It's what the Wikipedia call that thing.

Seems a bit too ambiguous to use sling only for a firearm's sling when we have both arm sling (with sling_(medical) aliased to it) and sling (weapon).
The ambiguity seems to have already caused post #6156359 to be tagged sling_(weapon) instead of sling, as both types of slings are weapons related.

IMO gun_sling should be the primary tag. Just "sling" is way too ambiguous with medical slings. It should be a disambiguation wiki.

I made a disambiguation page at the wiki for sling. Don't think it needs to be aliased. Guess I should've included this in the original request (I only used alias because it had too many posts for a rename) but maybe I was thinking of the old days when BURs had to be order independent or whatever it was.
