Some Ado implications

Posted under Tags

BUR #21688 has been approved by @evazion.

create implication chando_(ado) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication naima_(usseewa) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication merry_(readymade) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication romero_(show_(ado)) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication carpenter_(show_(ado)) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication lugosi_(show_(ado)) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication tia_(ado) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication tanaka_keiko_(ado) -> ado_(utaite)
create implication akuru-chan -> ado_(utaite)

This follows from the current usage of the ado_(utaite) tag as an umbrella tag for any of her song's characters. To make this work, Chando was created to cover her base character. Note that these characters are distinctly not costumes, but seem to act mostly just as separate characters that are voiced by her.

Edit: added Tia.
Edit 2: added Tanaka Keiko.
Edit 3: added Akuru-chan.

create alias carpenter_(show_(ado)) -> carpenter_(ado)
create alias lugosi_(show_(ado)) -> lugosi_(ado)
create alias akuru-chan -> akuru-chan_(ado)

Unsure about the last one, I feel it's not too ambiguous but everything else is qualified too.

It has a more generic qualifier because it's also a vocaloid song, songs with multiple official versions are more and more common now.

I suppose there's multiple official ones, but from what I can find based on YT video dates, Ado's is the earliest (by quite a few months compared to Giga's), so does it really make sense to use the more generic qualifier there? Or is there just not much established precedent here.

I don't think date is that relevant, there are official version released with more than a year's gap. And it can be the other way around, human version released way after the vocaloid one.

Song tagging is a bit of a mess as a whole, because not enough people care to discuss them so the BURs just all sank. Multiple official version is still something new, and exclusive to a very specific topic, so even less progress. I know a lot of things need revisions, but I just left them on the side for now because requesting a bunch of BURs for a single personal favorite without looking at the situation as a whole is only stirring the pot more. Like how we knew a lot of utaites had the wrong qualifier but it didn't got fixed until people officially stood up to create indie utaite.

There's this recent thread suggesting to group vocal synths under an umbrella tag so songs using multiple synthesizers can have a more accurate qualifier. Could be the first step into solving the mess… Or another failure.

Ok, hold up, I've been approving these on autopilot, but should we really be using an umbrella tag? These characters all look different, they're more like different roles than different skins/personas. We don't have an umbrella tag for vtubers that completely change character, like dokibird (vtuber) vs selen tatsuki, so why would we have an umbrella character tag for all the characters in post #7378255 and post #7338641? Is this just a proxy for an umbrella copytag?
