harem with males

harem so far the harem tag covers both, and is obviously dominated by female characters.

But if someone wanted to create one specifically for males... what should it be called?: male harem / reverse harem.
harem_(males) / harem_(boys) <= just made up for example.

I use the term reverse harem for the male harem, though it doesn't really matter between the two in my opinion. I can't really think of any new suggestions, but I think either male harem or reverse harem will be the choices for such a tag.

Male harem has the advantage of clearly stating the gender of the harem, but reverse harem would follow the same naming scheme as reverse trap (and reverse rape).

Probably independent. reverse_trap doesn't implicate trap, for example.

As for which term, either one is fine by me.

So if I use that one, would I remove harem tag that contains males surround one female?

Actually +1 for male_harem, and yes you'd remove the harem tag from those you'd put the male_harem tag on.

I remembered post #3740, and while not necessarily harem it does bring up the general question of "Does the 'owner' of the harem have to be the opposite gender of those in the harem?" It isn't impossible for a male to have a male harem and a female to have a female harem, just generally abnormal.

Reverse harem! Reverse harem! There's debauchery here.

I'd say to ignore the gender of the "owner" when choosing harem or male_harem. Only tag based on the gender of the harem itself.
