mature_eyes

I found a relatively minor issue with art depicting mature_women. Anime-styled art typically values (relatively) simple facial detailing and one of the few ways that artists can portray a character's age is by drawing wrinkles, or not-quite-Crow's Feet below the eyes that artists draw to make women look older. I'm currently tagging works featuring mature_female characters with these features (and mature_males will likely be included in the future as well) under "mature_eyes". (For examples, please review the currently tagged works).

I wanted to clarify and confirm what I am doing here with the hopes of preventing any future confusion and/or unprompted deletion of the tag. If an alternative name for the tag other than "mature_eyes" is needed, that is fine and I do not mind the tag being renamed.

I don't know if there's a better name but I appreciate your interest in improving our tags for mature character designs. I think this tag is a good idea.

Same as Admiral Pectoral, I think the idea is good, but not sure with the name. Maybe there other name that more fit, and make people more easy to understand what it means at first glance.

Yeah excellent tag idea but the name made me do a double take. Perhaps wrinkly eyes or aged eyes?

If it's based on eye wrinkles, then wouldn't it be easiest to just call them eye wrinkles? If it needs to then be further subdivided could always indicate the degree with subtags like light_eye_wrinkles, heavy_eye_wrinkles, etc.

What about mature_wrinkles naming?

+1 to the idea but not the name, similar to others. I'm not sure they're quite wrinkles but there's no need to be pedantic over the name either; it should just fit well and adequately describe what's being presented. In other words; +1 to eye_wrinkles.
