Lost Password, No Recovery E-Mail

In Much the same vein as Dragon Manipulator from forum topic 27758, I lost my password over a year ago and I'm only logged in on my PC. I've tried several times to guess it but have come up empty handed every time. This hasn't been issue until now, because I am planning on switching from Windows to Linux, and really don't want to lose this account, as it has the username that I use pretty much every where. If someone could help me out that would be amazing and the first thing I'll do after getting my account back is set up a recovery email.
I've tried asking on the discord months ago, but it didn't go anywhere.

If you're still logged in on your PC, why can't you just set up the recovery email from there?

I just tested and it asks to confirm your password when you try to change email

Posted this before I went to bed last night, I've tried. Danbooru requires a password for changing recovery email

As an emergency workaround you can copy your session cookie and import it to a different computer or browser.

Be extremely careful when following the instructions below! Especially make sure you don't overwrite your existing session or you could be left logged out! You can create a backup of your browser profile before doing this.

If you follow the instructions below you accept sole responsibility for the consequences! If you are not 100% sure about this, don't do it!

Never share your session cookie with anyone and never do things in the developer tools in general unless you understand what you are doing!
The developer tools are very powerful and could be used to steal login data and other personal information!

DANGER

• With Danbooru open in your browser, open the developer tools (usually by pressing F12)
• In Chrome or similar browsers go to the Application tab, in Firefox go to the Storage tab
• Select Cookies -> https://danbooru.donmai.us and find the _danbooru2_session entry (usually the first one)
• Double-click the value of the _danbooru2_session cookie (a long string of random letters and numbers) and press Ctrl+c to copy it
• You can paste it into a text file to help transfer it to a different computer. Make sure nobody else has access to the text file!
• In the new browser open Danbooru, then open the developer tools and find the _danbooru2_session as above
• Double-click the value and Ctrl-v to paste the previously copied value over it, press Enter to confirm
• Reload the page and check if you are logged in
