I think the Shinidamachuu are distinct enough that they should be a character, similar to how other distinct creatures are a character tag instead of a general tag, such as the Mishaguji or Metroid (creature). The alias is to help find them, I've seen them not tagged on some posts because I believe most people don't know them under this name, which isn't used in the English translations afaik.

Those are character tags because they're species that don't have named representatives. If the same applies here, it should be a character tag.

Yeah, they're just Kikyou's familiars following her orders, there are no individuals among them.
