Create a "popular_on_pixiv" tag or something

There are a lot of posts that are popular on pixiv that aren't popular here. A post that may have 1k+ favs on pixiv can have favs in the single digits on danbooru. I personally would like some tag or feature that allowed to sort/filter by what's popular over there.

How exactly would you determine what is “popular”? How many likes? How many favorites?

This tag won’t be feasible unless it’s automatically populated, so there needs to be some quantitative metric to define it.

We used to have pool #2778 which was for exactly this, but it was nuked as many felt it was pointless (topic #8406).

We also had something similar with pool #20546 which was nuked with the following message:

Pixiv has tags for posts that have 1k, 3k, 5k, 7.5k and 10k bookmarks.

This would be particularly useful for comics and other niche content.

what happens if a post hits one of those after its already on danbooru?
