Regarding the persocom tag

This tag seems a bit useless to me. Persocoms are androids, but their only distinctive feature are their robot ears. Chii and Freya compose over 95% of the tag, and the rest is either only identifiable by the afomentioned robot ears, or have no distinguishing features whatsoever to mark them as persocoms.
I don't care much for what happens to it, but it seems like a pointless canon tag. We don't tag Aigis or Labrys as shadow_supression_weapon, nor do we tag every Megaman X character as reploid.

I'm inclined to agree considering how little of it is crossover or parody, but given the ears it is visually distinct.

The tag already existed to be clear, I just qualified, gardened it, and gave it a wiki. While I like the tag, I'm not aggressively in favor of its existence.

persocom_(chobits) -chii

Part of the problem is that Chobits doesn't have much art posted that isn't Chii, despite there being a wider array of persocom characters. But there is art of the non-Chii persocoms, as well as OCs and crossovers.

An aside, Chobits is one of the first anime I ever watched, so I've been trying to upload more art of it and clean up the tagging, lol.

I'll put it up to a vote, if you guys think the tag should go. It is mostly Chii, by nature of Chobits itself being mostly Chii. There is art of the other persocoms, OCs, parodies and crossovers: persocom_(chobits) -chii, but not a huge amount. While the persocoms are most recognizable by the robot ears, not all of them specifically have robot ears - it's more common to have some other head ornament in their place.

Like I said, I personally like the tag (which is why I cleaned it up), but I'm not dead-set on its existence. I can absolutely see the argument for it being unnecessary.

Regarding the fact about persoms not all having ears though, wouldn't that be like canon tagging elf when the pointy ears aren't visible? If we do keep the tag I think Yuzuki (chobits) shouldn't be tagged with it at all since there's no indication she's not human.

I tried not to tag it on Yuzuki much because I couldn't remember if the maid headdress was part of her or not. Knowing it's not, yeah, I don't think she should be tagged with it barring a few cases like post #9261526 where you can see binary code in her eyes. (Small cleanup time, then.)

As for chobits -chii, that's true as well, people don't exactly care very much about the humans in Chobits, lol.
