Alias for Sophie from Howl's moving castle

I missed this thread. The alias was not warranted. The person who proposed the alias didn't investigate the tags in question throughly and there is misleading information in the reasoning.

Although mistagged by users because of missing wikis, these are not redundant tags. Sophie Hatter and Howl Pendragon were for Howl's Moving Castle (Novel), Sophie (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) and Howl (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) were for Howl no Ugoku Shiro. The movie adaptation and the novel have very different stories. This information

is confusing the two. In the novel, Howl is a British man from earth named Howell Jenkins, who ended up in the fantasy world and uses Howl Pendragon as a false name. None of this is reflected in the movie. The movie changed many things, but because the part about Howl's background was only removed, but not substituted with something new, people confuse the two. Or more accurately, people are using information from the novel to force an explanation for the novel, because the movie is a one-shot, it's left a lot of things unexplained. That's why the fan wiki articles are also fusions.

Classical literature adaptation like this are often mixed with the adapter's own ideas, and they are more isolated than anime adaptations. We don't tag many anime adaptations separately, but we do for classical adaptations, like Snow White (Fairy Tale Character) and Snow White (Disney). Especially when this is an international adaptation. These characters should be tagged separately.
