missing limb and amputee differentiation

I was trying to update the wikis of missing limb and amputee with a better definition and examples, but I'm not sure whats the difference. Also, I think missing limb should be for missing a single limb and not several as the wiki suggests.

If you can't reasonably update wikis to create a distinction or the examples you're pulling up end up being the exact same, there's a very good chance that the tags are redundant. An amputee by definition is missing a limb.

missing limb seems to be used interchangeably with amputee as far as i can tell. wouldn't mind an alias, though i do wonder what to do with posts like post #7241827 where tagging it amputee doesn't feel quite right.

Technically amputee would only cover a limb that was removed after birth, while missing limb would also cover birth defects or other weird situations artists can come up with. I doubt that's viable to put into practice in terms of tagging though.

Trying this again, echoing forum #187452. Both tags in principle describe the same concept, even if by definition there is a difference this alias would make a simplier alternative for tagging a character without a limb.

For the record, I agree there is some value on having a tag to include stuff like post #7241827, post #3277393 and post #6389833. But even then these cases could be included in a tag with a different name to avoid conflict (maybe implied amputee?)
