We need a new trap tag for characters that are not identified as male based on the image alone, as the image does not have any points like penis, testicles, muscles, bone structure, etc.
example : post #10495038 (artist said the character is a boy only once on random post...)

I think this suggestion makes some of the discussion back in topic #31701 after the name change back to trap was instituted very funny. Even those who prefer the term trap don't share the same scope as those who argued for its reinstitution.
I think you are not trying to say we should use ambiguous_gender on the post but let me say this. ambiguous_gender is not a good tag for the example post.
A trap by definition implies stealth to begin with. Same with reverse trap. This is redundant and unnecessary.
the reason why we search trap is because we want to see a boy looks like girl but the example post is just... there is a girl (actually not a girl as artist said)
the point is, people wanted to see a 'boy' looks like a girl. people who searched for trap want to see a boy. but we can't think the long hair twintail human is a boy
like, tomboy lovers don't want to see a actual boy or a human(girl) with flat chest and bulge crotch...
I think you could make a better case for redefining trap to not apply to male characters with visible bulges or male genitalia (meaning the "trap" has been "disarmed").

you know you can edit the same post to make addendums to it. that's fine especially if nobody else has responded to the thread since.
They already edited one of their previous posts. I don't know why they posted a new comment instead of just editing it again.

every naked astolfo with a monster can sized schlong is tagged "trap" because femboy is aliased to trap.
i don't see what this tag can do that can't be achieved with trap rating:g
anal analyst should have created a favgroup with examples before proposing a new tag so we can have a clearer idea on what sort of post should be tagged

We can't redefine trap, there are too much posts already.
as trapster77 said, so much nude males already got trap tag, so much clothed males(the reason why I trying to make new tag) already got trap tag too.
We haven't even agreed whether we want the tag. Considering how all of the responses have been neutral or negative, I would hold off on making any wikis until more people have weighed in.
If you really want this tag, I recommend creating a favgroup with posts you think would qualify for stealth trap, then submitting a Bulk Update Request to mass update the posts in that favgroup with stealth_trap. When you're ready to submit the bulk update request, click "Request alias/implication" at the top of the screen while in this topic and follow the instructions there. You should write it like this:
To me, this issue is downstream of the fact that nobody can agree on what trap should actually be called either. Do we re-open that can of worms? I don't really want to re-open that can of worms.

oh, yea so we need new tag 'reverse_stealth_trap' too for girls with flat chest and bulge
...on second thought, maybe we should think about opening that can of worms again.
The example I provided, post #10495038, is difficult to classify as ambiguous gender. We can confidently say it's a "female" just by looking at the image.
The only problem is that the artist explicitly stated the character's gender as male.

ambiguous gender is for when no traits of either sex are plainly visible. androgynous is for characters who share traits of both sexes. neither of these tags should be used for "a guy who is functionally indistinguishable from a girl".

the matter of fact is, this is what trap is already supposed to be, if the wiki is to be believed! creating a trap_(trap) tag is not the solution here. at risk of sounding like a broken record, this is why i keep proposing splitting off otokonoko/femboy into a superset of trap.
