Should there be some kind of consistency between them when it comes to "bite/bitting"?

assbiting needs to be ass_biting.
Unicogirl has a point. Danbooru's policy has been towards aliasing actions to gerund (-ing) tags.
Thus tags with biting would cover images featuring acts of biting, while tags with bite would cover images featuring bite marks.
Also, +1 to a mosquito_bite → bug_bite alias (or implication).

That seems understandable. We can just alias all tags to *_biting tags, bitemark -> bite_mark, and bite -> biting as the mother tag, although it seems like a lot of work and database space to set that all up.

Agreed as an implication.
I'd rather alias mosquito_bite to bug_bite than implicate, since they all look the same.
Aliased mosquito_bite -> bug_bite
Aliased bitemark -> bite_mark
As for the rest, I think we need to differentiate between which are depicting a wound (like bug_bite) and which are depicting an action, as others have said. Looking at the list... I'd say they're all _biting besides bug and of course bite_mark, which could cover the depiction of the wound when it accompanies any of the _biting tags.
So, done.
There are a number of biting_* tags as opposed to *_biting. The latter seems to dominate, and the only alias we have going in the direction of the former is the one for biting_testicles (though actually only from ball bit(e/ing) and not testicle biting). Any opinions on which way to alias these?
