Tag: skinship

So, uh, I was wondering if we could expand on the skinship tag I made on post #710476.

Skinship is basically body-to-body contact of a nonsexual nature. I don't know if this will stick, but I gotta try.

Would it be better as a pool, then, rather than as a tag?

So basically, platonic contact. Would this include things where contact may be assumed, such as hand-shakes and hugs, since there may be clothing in the way (prolly more often with hugs than handshakes, unless gloves are that far in vogue)?

Skinship is contextual, but it's not really something that warrants a pool, since at least some evidence is present. It's not a subjective nightmare like "Disgustingly Adorable."

Counting a handshake as skinship is just stretching the definition into absurdity.
