Fatal Frame tags.

Posted under General

Alias:

fatal_frame_i -> fatal_frame_1
fatal_frame_ii -> fatal_frame_2
fatal_frame_iii -> fatal_frame_3
fatal_frame_iv -> fatal_frame_4

or

fatal_frame_1 -> fatal_frame_i
fatal_frame_2 -> fatal_frame_ii
fatal_frame_3 -> fatal_frame_iii
fatal_frame_4 -> fatal_frame_iv

Whichever is preferred.

Then they should all be implicated to fatal_frame.

Also someone who's familiar with the series needs to go and check all the stuff under fatal_frame -fatal_frame_ii -fatal_frame_3 -fatal_frame_4 and tag them with their respective games first. I'm sure they're mostly, if not all, 1, but I'm pretty unfamiliar with the games so I wouldn't know. They might also want to give the rest of them a once over to be safe.

Fatal frame is actually the American name - the original Japanese name for the first game is "零~zero~"

The other four games are:

零~紅い蝶~ (Zero: Akai Chou)
零〜刺青の聲〜 (Zero: Shisei no Koe)
零〜月蝕の仮面〜 (Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen)

In Europe the games are called "Project Zero", which is also the name of the Japanese team behind the games (the second game site announces "project zero staff present"). The first game also went under the provisional title "Project 0" while in development.

They do use the Fatal Frame name in Japan for the X-Box re-release though:

I don't see any reason to alias them to rei/zero, they are known as both names in japan. The fatal frame tags will never be ambiguous but the originals could be in an instant. Resident Evil is the same way and nobody's bitched about those.
