"Gust"

Posted under General

This tag is... well, a mess. It's categorized as "artist", but it clearly refers to more than one, as you can see from post #218384 (No idea who this would be) and post #212213 (The guys who did the Iro Iro~ doujins) for example. To complicate things, the tag is included with every Ar Tonelico/Atelier [Something] post in reference to Gust, the developping company... and whoever added to artist information evidently had no idea what in the world he was doing.

To be honest, I've no idea where to begin with this one. If someone can at least identify the artists, I can take care of the tag cleanup myself.

Yeah, after taking a look at it again, there were only fifteen or so messed-up posts, so I just cleared those of the tag and deleted the fake artist profile.

EDIT: By the way, since I'm pretty sure it was you, here's a little suggestion: When the Japanese and English versions of something have different names for something, there's no need to tag an image with both, just pick one (The English usually) and create an alias for the Japanese. Same for the hideously long names for the Atelier series and their short versions.

Got it. ^_^
Sorry about that.
The Atelier series has several different series all listed under different segments.
For example, Atelier Marie, Elie, Lilie and Anise are all Alchemist of Salburg.
Where Atelier Judie and Violet are Alchemist of Gramnad.
Atelier Iris is it's own series, and so is Atelier Lise.
Where Mana-Khemia is a new continuation of the Atelier series.
My intention was to separate the Salburg series from the Gramnad series and have an access point from both series through the Atelier or Gust tags.
My mistake was when I added the game number when I posted the Salburg and Gramnad tags.
As for names, it gets pretty complicated there.
Since both the Salburg and Gramnad series's were never released outside of Japan, theres a dividing point on how the names are spelled in English.
In the manga it's spelled Zarlburg rather then Salburg.
Sometimes Violet is spelled Viorate, Judie as Judy, Lilie as Lily.
Since none of the first games in the series were translated, they never really had a proper English title.
