In uploading post #1073572 I wanted to tag the trailing light from the tail of the robot fish, one of the guns, and the two lights near atlas waist, but I don't know if we already have something like this.
Tooru Nakayama seems to like them, post #1013563 post #240534, but they're hardly common, so I'm not sure if it's worth implementing?

You could possibly use motion_blur.
I've been wanting to use a tag like this a while ago too. (couldn't find any and just left it alone)
+1 for making it light_trail.
I'd prefer not to see motion blur used for that. There are many cases in which a light trail is the only such effect in an image, and motion blur covers a lot of movement.
+1 for light trail. Trail alone is too ambiguous, and slow shutter is only intuitive to people who do photography. It would make a fine alias for light trail, though.
Changed the linked posts and those under trail and slow_shutter that looked applicable. Will take a look at posts under motion_blur.
Not sure what to do with post #892136, which seems to have a different kind of trail (icy mist-looking stuff from her eye).
Similar issue with post #1036640.
