Lightning_farron --> Eclair_Farron

Eclair Farron is Lightning's real name in the Japanese game. I suggest we alias it to this. If people have trouble with this then maybe we could alias it to "Eclair_Farron_(lightning)"

Yes, her real name is "Eclair". No, its not a spoiler in any meaningful way. On the other hand, making that the main tag gains absolutely no one anything. So lets stick with lightning_farron and alias eclair_farron to it.

Gaining absolutely nothing? That's like saying that correcting any tag would gain us nothing. Eclair_Farron is her name, taging her with something else doesn't make sense.

Something that is used once in 60 hours of gaming is not a good candidate for an alias target.

Yeah, it's like kaburagi_tomoe vs amamiya_tomoe (forum #76090). We should use the name she's most commonly called.

I recommend adding claire_farron too, since that's the westernized version of her name.

What exactly are you saying, when you say "their names"? Are you referring to a character's born with name or do you include names that they may have changed to as well ? There are probably plenty of series where a character is introduced with a name that is not their born with name, particularly if they've decided to live a new life and abandon their old life. I can't say I've played the series, but what I've read of the character says she abandoned her birth name and choose to live with a new name. If that is so, then "Lightning" is just as valid a name for her as her old name is, if not the more valid name as it is the name she carries on with her even after the first game ends and continues to use it within the second.

As for not going with "what most fans use" and using their born with name, I wonder how many people would recognize Henry Walton Jones, Jr. in comparison to Indiana Jones.

It sounds like it's inconsequential enough that using the name she's generally known by is appropriate in this case, thus leaving the tag alone.
