Tag Alias: condom_wrapper -> condom

Aliasing condom_wrapper -> condom.

Reason: Redundant tag.

There are pictures that contain empty condom_wrappers without a condom.

I question why anyone would want to search for only an open condom wrapper, but in that case remove all instances of condom so the tag has some clarity instead of appearing as another redundant tag.

Are you saying images with both an empty wrapper and the condom itself should be tagged with both tags, or are you suggesting we need to distinguish between a condom both inside and outside of a wrapper?

Almost all images with condom_wrappers would also contain condoms and the reverse is also true for majority of posts. I don't think people would want to search for posts with empty condom_wrappers, but even if they would, condom_wrapper -condom is not reliable, most valid posts will be filtered out. Furthermore, it would end up being used as a duplicate tag and added to posts that are already tagged with condom.

condom_wrapper tag is certainly redundant and should be aliased to condom or just purged. The real question is: do we need an empty_condom_wrapper tag?
Personally, I think that it's not needed.

I feel images depicting the condom packet should be tagged condom_packet instead of receiving the condom tag. There are plenty of images under the condom tag that do not actual depict the condom but depict only the packet. Ideally I think the condom packet should be treated independent from the condom. At minimum there is at least the problem that the condom tag is filled with images that in many cases either only depicts the user with the condom packet or only just the condom and there is no way to sift between the images using tags currently when there is a visual difference between the condom packet and the actual condom itself.

The condom should be visible to actually be tagged, and going based on the indentation on the packet isn't really tagging the condom because there are images of empty condom packets still with the ring indentation and with other tags we don't tag it when it's not directly visible. For example we do not tag images of erect nipples through clothes with the nipples tag nor do we tag images with cameltoe and labia with the pussy tag, even if they're indentations that indicate their presence (or at least that is how the tags are intended to be used).

As for the value of a empty condom wrapper tag, I think there would potentially be more value in a "open_condom_packet" tag instead, since a few images like post #394170 and post #756741 do exist. Although such images would be somewhat buried amongst the images of empty packets.
