The tags vhs and videotape are mostly used for the same thing. All the videotape posts are VHS videotapes except post #499186 which is a Digital Video Cassette.
Probably just being nitpicky, but perhaps videocassette would be better if you're simply referring to the cassettes of videotape. Videotape could include reels of videotape, not that I've looked or really expect such things to appear (and their appearance would be very similar to a reel of film).
