Reason: Represents the same expression. :(| has more characters. D: has to be uppercase to look accurate, though has been widely used at this point.

I have never in my life seen :(| used. I've edited the one post that used it (wasn't even a D: face).

I used it as a place holder, since the correct one does not follow the :* format so did not appear when a did a quick search using :*. I'm going through one of the tags and cleaning it, and instead of spending time trying to dig around for the correct tag (if there was one), I used a placeholder so I could put other images if I came across them and then correct them all using a tag script if needed.

Also I disagree with you Serlo, the mouth is open, so it was that face. If anything, I disagree with your own choice of what you thought was the right tag for that face.
