create alias pokemon_x -> pokemon_xy
create alias pokemon_y -> pokemon_xy
create alias pokemon_x&y -> pokemon_xy
create alias pokemon_x_and_y -> pokemon_xy

Reason:
To follow suit with pokemon_diamond -> pokemon_dppt, and so on. To keep the aliases of main Pokémon games beautifully comprehensive and consistent, with the addition of Pokémon X and Y as two recently-announced upcoming games.

(Even though pokemon_x_and_y is the longest, so I suppose nobody would take the trouble to type it, specifically. The others seem to be more useful, in their own ways.)

Agreed with XY. That seems to be the common name.
