Does it mean multiple things within the series? I don't see an advantage in using both forms, an acronym and an acronym spelled out seems pointless in the same phrase.

I'm not familiar with the series, but it looks like the proper title includes both the acronym and the full form; "RDG Red Data Girl".

It seems less redundant in Japanese, where it looks like "RDG レッドデータガール".

I don't think it's long enough to need a /shortcut but I'll alias red_data_girl to it.

Was this alias really necessary? As was already said, having both acronym and its full form in the same tag seems redundant.

I think this case is somewhat similar to real_drive and there we simply use the meaning of the acronym as our tag.

I dunno, I've been used to seeing "RDG Red Data Girl" anywhere the series name comes up for a while now so it didn't seem controversial to me.
