I realize that z is currently the more-used of the two, but perhaps the alias could go the other way instead?

When this appears in an image, it's most often three or more z's, I don't think I've seen only one. So I think zzz is a clearer name than z, which is only one letter and vague.

Yeah, Usually there are always more than three z's.
