Did what I could. The term 蟲蔵 (insect storehouse?) drove me crazy; I could find mentions of it, but no pronunciation guide or definition. The Japanese wiki indicated that it's where Kariya dies, so I checked the English-language wiki, which says that happens in the "basement". That doesn't match the meaning of the characters at all, but if it's an accepted term for the spot, so be it.

Honestly it depends on the translation of what fansubs and official uses. But I suspect basement was used to avoid "Spoilers". because saying "Bug room" actually kinda gives it away.

I suppose. Having never watched/read any of the Fate series, it didn't mean anything to me, which is partly why I wrestled with it for so long.
