I can't really tell if this RJ is really half Houshou's height due to being younger, or if she's actually kneeling.

I think its younger, since there is no reason for her to be kneeling.

It just occurred to me that the usual jokes about RJ would be a tad less memetic if artists portrayed her at the (mental) age her apparent height indicates - i.e. similar to Akatsuki-class.
