The Splatfest is North Pole vs South Pole
Well tickle my balls, I didn't even notice. Wonder why there are still polar bears up there if they're suppose to die out somewhere in the future. Dammit Al Gore, you lied to me.
Well on the subject the splatfest is over with an amazingly even score.
Voting was 52% - 48% in favor of north, while victories were 52% - 48% favoring south. So south won but it was very close.
It seems most people didn't like the idea of North and South pole so most of them just voted because south pole has penguins. Guess people really want to pet penguins.
I live close to a spot in the South where Little Blue Penguins come up every now and again. They're very cuddly, but the reek of fish will cling to you for days.
Also, it's a lot easier to conduct geological research on the South pole, so it'd get my vote if I had Splatoon.
