For this commercial, it was more about the horse than the specific race. Mihono Bourbon wasn't supposed to be a monster. She didn't have a monster pedigree or special talent. She was just trained so harshly that she became a monster that produced results. When she produced results, her trainer just made her training even harsher, to the point that it was considered by fans to be animal abuse. It was no surprise that Mihono Bourbon broke down and retired in the same year she debuted.
