It would be nice if Rya could eventually master her illusion/metamorphosis ability. In game she still has a hunched back and insecurities about her true nature, but in the lands between, what you were tends to not be as important as what you currently are, just ask Ranni. Who knows, maybe the distinction between the snake and the woman could become so blurred that a scenario like this fanart could be in the cards for her in the future.
edit: I should be clear that I'm only saying this outta my interpretation of her character arc. If we see her human form as being associated with the comfortable lies that Tanith told her, and her snakeman form as being associated with the harsh truth of her birth, then we can see 3 endings to her arc:
1. Snakeman - Rya fully accepts her nature as a thing born of blasphemy, and resolves to end it all, thereby finally taking control of her life. 2. Human - Rya loses her memory and is able to live in a manufactured, yet comfortable existence. 3. SnakeHuman - Rya is forced to face herself, both the illusion and person, and struggles on. She finds purpose in continuing Rykard's blasphemous legacy, but this also opens up the possibility of truly understanding why Tanith lied to her, and maybe, forging a new path, perhaps one not too dissimilar to what I proposed.
edit2: dang, thats a lot of downvotes. I guess people prefer her snake form, or disagree with my interpretation? No way to know...
Or maybe it's because you're not marking the spoilers as such.
Oh, that's it? I assumed that the tail being present in this image already gave away the parts of my post that were unspoilered, as I did spoiler her sidequest endings. Thanks for being the only one outta eight people to let me know.
