Nope.
The time when he raged and decimated those barbarians who massacred the whole village. Even after that deed, Toki didn't manage to quench his anger, for he killed with the same arts he wished to heal with.

She have failed her faith (that is buddhism) by giving in the fear of death, also helping youkais made her a traitor to humans of her epoch. It doesn't mean that I like her any less.

Meanwhile on some other place, a human village was mercilessly slaughtered by a force of youkais when a friendly youkai saw in horror how her human friends were slaughtered by her kind.

Let me tell you something about the human vs youkai thing, it was never one sided, it wasn't the bastard humans fault or the wicked youkais, but the worse of both groups enforcing their extreme ways and looking down on their "non peers".

Quite a lot like how in Marvel Mutant vs Humans isn't the fault of anybody but people like Magneto or Graydon Creed, each side can be as bastard as the other or as innocent as the other.

Sadly Byakuren, at least based on the game dialogue, seems to miss this aspect and while preaching for equality, blames the humans for the inequality, when the struggle of humans and demi humans was always pretty balanced in the "opressing and being opressed", dunno if she got better after the game though, since i read she got a shrine on the human village and everything.

This could be that thing that really sets in that issue of her Blaming the Humans for the unbalance because of an event like this

She fought Reimu/Marisa/Sanae because the girls were on a Youkai extermination mission, and she was against that...

However, after being imprisoned in Makai for so long, she didn't know that Youkai extermination only happened when there was an incident, and that some form of Youkai tolerance had finally come to Gensokyo.

After being defeated, and turning the Flying Ship into an attraction, she noticed how it became popular with both Youkai and humans, and they would even ride the ship at the same time without problem.

Youkai eat people. No exceptions. So she is a traitor.

There's nobody to be blamed, but it's the thought, the up-to-no-good idea of Ultra-Nationalism and ethnic purification that was the main cause of war... it's applied in this Manga as well

You do realize that he was talking in the past before Gensokyo, the Spell Card Rules, etc. were set up?

And even back then there would have been youkai like Kogasa or Alice. Tsukumogami in general are pranksters more than man-eaters. And magician youkai don't need to eat anything.

The main, important point is that the relationship between humans and youkai weren't that great before Gensokyo/Spell Card Rules was formed and that neither side aren't really innocent in the matter [youkai eating humans and humans... being human]

Also remember that the numerous "brainless" youkai that did eat humans and such who more than likely outnumbered the harmless/intelligent ones like Kogasa before Gensokyo was created.

Yeah the whole point is that back then none side was truly innocent, thankfully Gensokyo may had taught Byakuren a bit of what really was the problem back then, no gods, no humans, but, the radical and anti ethnical ideas that some humans and youkais had, which only keep on adding suffering, despair, hate, and other nasty stuff to the people in the middle that had to experience it.

Even back then Youkai extermination wasn't exactly such a bad thing if it was aimed to some seriously dangerous and destructive groups of youkais, of course situations like this comic of burning down a peaceful village that may not be doing anything bad to humans is unnaceptable and more ethnical cleansing than taking care of seriously dangerous creatures, but the same can be said of hordes of youkais doing the same to a human village.

How dare you bring logic to the table? That's just cold.
